How do I book a trial class?
Book a trial class anytime online in our parent portal. Once you’ve created a parent portal account with us, you can make a booking under ‘Register for Classes’. From here, find your desired class and select ‘schedule trial’. Select your trial class date and submit. You should receive an email confirmation.

What should I wear for my trial class?
Anything comfortable to move in is perfect for the trial lesson, such as a t-shirt and leggings or any dance clothes you might already own. Bare foot or soft shoes is fine too.

Do I need a Uniform?
Yes, uniforms are required for all enrolled students at CDA, but not for trial lessons.
Once you have enrolled after your trial lesson, you can try on uniforms at the studio for size. Uniform orders are to be made online in the parent portal online store and will be ready for collection at the studio 1-2 weeks after we receive your order.

Can I stay to watch the trial class?
During the term we hold closed classes. However, if your child is a little shy or nervous you a welcome to stay with them for their first trial lesson.
Our Creative Movement classes for 2-3.5 years and Pre-Primary Ballet for 3.5-5 years is open for parents to watch every class!
We do ask, only 1 parent per child and no sibling stay to watch to minimise distractions.

What is the trial class cost?
New students will be billed from their trial class date. If you do not wish to enrol after your trial lesson, you will not be charged at all.

Do you take enrolments all year?
Yes! You can enrol anytime in the year. If you join in the middle of a term, your fees will be pro-rated.
